CRAGSLIST ADDITION....I CAN'T STOP.....

My latest find on CL for years I have wanted these chairs but since I already had them in different colors I thought no when I saw the price I had to have them ( get ready for the price, sit down ok ready for 5 of these chairs I paid $150.00 yes. For right now there are sitting in my garage.

This was the first one but it looked too pink next to my granite .

Ok this is the tile I have decided to go with after along hunt .This is it (not the bottom part) just the travertine on the top lets hope for the best. There is no going back now

Well ok here I found this beauty on CL and I knew I had to bring her home. The Mister on the other hand, not so much. But this was love she was perfect it just had to be. Stay tuned to find out what happens.

What color will work with this color granite...

I need help this is my granite it's called Giallo ornamental its mostly olives and browns and a hint of gold,what color should i do the backsplash? I can see it's going to take a while.

What a good carpenter can do

Well here she is an almost finished cabinet I still have to paint , but my ultimate plan is to put my microwave on the top shelf and a brown basket on the bottom.I can't wait to see how it turns out.

This cabinet was part of a peninsula that was original to the house well I cut it off (12) years ago

and this is what was left, I stuck a plant to hide it but it was still ugly as seen here.

Kitchen coming along slowly

Well this is how the kitchen kitchen looked after the laminate counter had been taken off.

Yes the top of my beloved dish washer ( those of us with kids) you know what i am talking about.

Here she is the granite (Giallo ornamental) I wanted more gold but depending on the light the color changes . I would say this is more olive browns and hint of gold, which I guess in the end worked out perfect for me , the colors in the rest of the house are those colors. It has been 3 days and now i really love it . The truth of it is the hubby made me stick with this one , I was going back and forth for two weeks trying to decide, but I guess in the end he was right (let's not tell him ) you know about him being right.

Here you can see i still need to pick out a backsplash get a hood over the cooktop ( will show that later), then decide on weather or not to change color of cabinets.

This is the view into kitchen from family.

This looks much better in person.

As you can all tell by now i love color, It just makes me happy. I also feel less is not more, I love more the more the better,the blingyer (is that a word) oh it is now. I have so much to share .As time goes on i will get better at this.

Looking into the dinning room (those are christmas ornaments hanging off the chandy) I just loved it so much I decided to keep them up there.

As you enter the front door you look the right it's my formal living room (no one allow look and keep walking) just kidding. Big changes are a coming in this room stay tuned. As you look to the left the formal dinning room.
