What's Old Is New Again....

Yes I am going to add nailhead trim to it (5 years in the making) told ya it was an old one.

Hello out there, I know I have so many unfinished projects. Why then am I starting another one. Well truth be told this one is one of the oldest I just thought it was time.This chair I purchased way back when, It started out life as a brown chair with green fabric(sorry no before pictures) I wanted it to use at my desk in the master bedroom, It's still in the master but now only as a side chair. I painted and faux finished it and put the fabrics that match the master ( will talk about in another post). I soon hope to have the nailhead trim on. well be back with the after pictures.

THE COLOR I CHOSE WAS A DARK WALNUT MIXED WITH BLACK STAIN.

THIS GIRL IS SOLID WOOD WITH BEAUTIFUL CARVINGS .

THIS IS THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WITH SUN STREAMING IN .

THE TOP SO RICH AND DARK NOT SURE I WILL LET ANYONE NEAR HER FOR A WHILE. I HAVE GOT TO SAY I HAVE BEEN PRETTY LUCKY WITH THE THINGS I HAVE FOUND ON CL.(KNOCK ON WOOD)

I LOVE THE LINES THE FRENCHYNESS(IS THAT A WORD) IT DOESN'T MATTER.

WELL, HERE I GO AGAIN,LAST WEEK I TOLD MYSELF NO MORE CL NO NO NO,BUT THEN I THOUGHT I AM JUST LOOKING WHAT HARM IS THERE IN THAT? WELL THIS IS THE HARM I AM THINKING I WANT TO USE AS A BUFFET NOT A DRESSING TABLE SHE JUST NEEDS TO BE ABOUT 3INCHES TALLER, AND I'VE GOT JUST THE THING.MORE TO COME ON THAT

My latest find on CL for years I have wanted these chairs but since I already had them in different colors I thought no when I saw the price I had to have them ( get ready for the price, sit down ok ready for 5 of these chairs I paid $150.00 yes. For right now there are sitting in my garage.

Ok this is the tile I have decided to go with after along hunt .This is it (not the bottom part) just the travertine on the top lets hope for the best. There is no going back now

Well ok here I found this beauty on CL and I knew I had to bring her home. The Mister on the other hand, not so much. But this was love she was perfect it just had to be. Stay tuned to find out what happens.
