Ok, well remember when I found a collection of the Johnson brothers OLD BRITIAN CASTLES. It had just the creamer And I just loved it so, I started looking around and was able to find a the teapot (love love love) . My really really really wonderful husband ordered it for me. Now I am on the lookout for the sugar bowl.
This basket of dishes was purchesed at a garage sale for $20 I just loved the red and white . The first time I saw it I was in love but because I only collected blue and white I passed by, The next year however It came home with me . I guess it was ment for me.Here is the very pretty creamer. I love the set and It is all from about the 1930s. Very light weight and delicate. Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful, Ann! I love this set. I just found one of the Christmas dishes at Goodwill the other day. It was not in the dish section, so I hurried over there thinking I might get lucky to find more. No luck. I'll be on the look-out though. If nothing else, it will make for a nice decoration on a stand at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty! What a great find and how sweet of your hubby to purchase the pot.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, Ann. I used to have more blue, but I find myself liking the red patterns more and more.

ReplyDeleteI love transferware and you have some lovely pieces there. Perfect at this time of the London Olympics and for so many holidays too. I have a few blue pieces and just recently posted about four brown/black transferware plates I found at the thrift store.
